Elvira Konakhbayeva graduated from the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Forecasting (KIMEP). Over the years, she worked in the Audit Department of Deloitte LLP, in the management consulting department of KPMG Tax and Advisory LLP and in senior positions in the Corporate Governance Department of Samruk-Kazyna JSC. She is a certified professional in corporate governance (CCGP), sustainable development (GRI) and investor relations (IR Society).

She was awarded with a Certificate of Honor (2016), a Letter of Appreciation (2017) from Samruk-Kazyna JSC and the Anniversary Medal “Kazakhstan Constitutionyasyna 25 Zhyl” – in light of the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2020).
